this time of year is so important to me and to my business. not only is it a time to learn and to grow - there are many conferences and major conventions during wedding off-season - it's also a time for me to rest and re-energize for the upcoming season. i try to focus on new ideas and creative ways to see things - brush up on new techniques and skills, work on new samples and branding and just as importantly, take some time to have some fun!!!

had a fabulously snowy time in Vail and managed to come home in one piece! here's to the season!

my new year's baby!

on the second day of the new year i photographed this beautiful two-and-a-half week old. he was an early Christmas present for one of my favorite couples who were married in april of 07. we actually discussed baby pics as their wedding album was finished, and i was so excited to hear that he'd arrived early. congratulations guys!!! i think this is a fantastic start for 2009!
