i knew before starting this blog that it would be a challenge for me to keep up.

i procrastinated for years with every excuse, and started so ridiculously slowly, trying hard not to let anyone down by leaving them out.

i know those sneak peeks before proofing galleries are available online are so exciting and so addictive,

and so it is with my most sincere apologies to the newlyweds, brides and families who have been neglected in my sporadic posting that i offer up a glimpse of some new work.

Katie Alice is an august bride who i've been so excited to photograph - of course, who wouldn't be right? yes, she's gorgeous (runs in her family - you'll see). she's also so sweet and fun to talk to, and always enthusiastic. just a pleasure to be around! we got together on the windiest day of the year with the main objective of an engagement announcement photo. mom and sister in tow (and everyone in from out of town) we trekked around the park for a good part of the afternoon until we finally gave in to mother nature and headed out to find a break from the wind.

it was all so very worthwhile! thanks guys, for such a fun afternoon - i can't wait to get together again!
