I know I'm horrible about blogging. I have many, many beautiful brides, children and weddings I've photographed this summer that are begging to be posted, but I was so taken with these images of one of the sweetest people (and most beautiful!) you'll ever meet - I couldn't help but posting... this is absolutely the sweetest family. i first met mom and dad several years ago back when they were just about to become bride and groom. lots has changed since, and i'm thrilled to have documented the biggest changes - brother and sister! love and hugs to you all. thank you for letting me be there to document these most monumental moments :)

oh BOY!

i know i brag a lot on my clients, but i just wanted to eat this babe up! he was so busy and sooo cute! the cheeks! the teeth! i loved it :)
his mom and dad are lovely, and i was lucky enough to photograph their wedding a few years back. the absolute joy in my work comes from watching families grow and i am delighted to document it all!

just a quick glimpse of the adorable sweetness of this weekend. oh baby! can you stand it!!!

check out this gorgeous canvas! it went out in mid-december as a christmas gift - my favorite kind! i didn't have time to hang it but took a quick pic on it's way out the door (literally). as per usual - when it comes to photography - bigger is ALWAYS better!!! (taken with my panasonic point and shoot).

these images are from a shoot before the holidays. this gang is absolutely the most adorable bunch of kids EVER!!! needless to say, the three of them together were a challenge. who wants to sit still and smile for the camera after all! i think it's obvious who stole the show. and when she's done, she's done!

just when you'd think it's time for a long winter's nap things are picking up around here. i have fantastic new offerings that i can't wait to get into my clients' hands. new framing options are available, stunning canvases and unbelievable albums are all in production. it's an exciting new year!!!

one of the absolute best parts of my job is seeing my brides and grooms grow into families and watching those families grow. the most meaningful compliments i've gotten as a photographer come when a client i've photographed in the past thinks of me when it comes time to document another important event in life.
of course i was thrilled to hear that sarah and josh were expecting and thought back to their stunning daniel island wedding. not much seems to have changed - although everything is about to! these two are adorably sweet to each other and everyone around them. quick to laugh, and just a genuinely great team. congrats you two!!! (this is the session that was basically sleeted out! we managed to duck inside to wrap things up and you would never know that these outdoor shots were hurried due to the falling sleet around us :)
